Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This page explains what data we collect, what we do with it, and your choices.
What we collect
- Uploaded images: the photo you upload is sent to Google's Gemini API and Anthropic's Claude API (for written reviews) to generate the requested outputs. We do not retain your uploaded images on our servers.
- Anonymous identifier: a random UUID stored in a first-party cookie (
ugc_uid) so we can track your credit balance without an account. - Optional Google account info: if you sign in with Google, we store your email, name, and profile picture URL to keep your credits portable across devices.
- Payment info: processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We store a record of the credit pack purchased and the email associated with the Stripe checkout.
- Operational logs: standard request logs at our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and debugging — typically retained for a short period.
What we do not collect
- Browsing history outside ugcshots.ai.
- Device fingerprinting beyond standard request metadata.
- Third-party tracking pixels or advertising cookies.
Third parties
To deliver the Service we send data to:
- Google (Gemini API) — the uploaded image and a generation prompt. Per Google's API terms, image inputs are not used to train their models.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — the uploaded image when you generate a written review. Per Anthropic's API terms, inputs are not used for model training.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google (Sign-In) — only if you choose to sign in.
- Cloudflare — hosting and edge serving.
Your rights
You can clear your local browser data to drop your anonymous credit balance. If you signed in, email hello@ugcshots.ai to request deletion of your account and associated data.
Children
The Service is not intended for users under 13.
